One of our favorite seasons is “Blueberry season”! We love visiting our local blueberry farm to pick fresh blueberries to make all sorts of delicious goodies. I am actually a bit late in sharing this post, hence why it’s backdated. I thought it would still be fun to share our experience. Here in Florida blueberry season ends in May, but depending on where you live the season may have just begun!
We picked several pounds of blueberries and had enough to make a delicious vegan blueberry pie, blueberry muffins, pancakes and freeze the leftover ones to use in smoothies.
If you have a U-pick blueberry farm near you this is definitely a fun spring/summer activity to try. Especially if you have children! Just do a quick Google search to see if there is one in your area. There’s nothing like fresh handpicked blueberries. Store bought berries can never compare!
