Happy Wednesday lovelies! I hope your Christmas was as sweet and as magical as mine was. This year seems like it went by so fast including Christmas. I really can’t believe it will be a new year in less than a week! Doesn’t it seem like this year just flew by? Well, today I would like to share with you all the details of my feminine pastel Christmas.
My pastel Christmas color palette
I decided to keep the color palette very soft and feminine so I choose a beautiful white tree which was the perfect base for pastel ornaments. Since I couldn’t find a white wreath to match my tree, I used one that was frosted with fake snow instead. It looked amazing with the pastel color scheme! As for my actual color palette, I choose soft pink, white, and gold.
A pastel Christmas wonderland
We adorned our tree in beautiful ornaments in these colors including some very feminine styled ornaments like these beautiful glass slippers and a Cinderella carriage.
I have always loved the Nutcracker ballet, so I wanted to add one to my decor. I ordered this gorgeous pink and gold one from Pier 1. Isn’t he lovely? I didn’t want him to be lonely, so I intended on getting another one, but Sonata spotted this beautiful lavender sugar plum fairy nutcracker in Kmart, and I was sold. She paired perfectly with him alongside our pastel Christmas village.
For my dining table, I created a centerpiece that consisted of gorgeous, scented candles, a mini white wreath, and some led Christmas trees.
Since we are currently living in a townhome, we don’t have a fireplace, so I always hang our Christmas stockings on our bedroom doors. I used some pretty white and ivory ones, and I even found a gorgeous pink one for Sonata on Amazon.
With this color scheme being so soft and feminine I didn’t want to ruin the overall feel with gifts wrapped in traditional Christmas colors. Instead, I purchased lots of pastel, gold, and silver gift wrap. I actually miss the look of these gorgeously wrapped gifts! They tied the entire theme together perfectly.
Pastel Sweet Treats
We had so much fun baking these adorable gingerbread cookies using a recipe by Loving it Vegan. The cookies were delicious! I also baked some vegan cupcakes and decorated both the cookies and cupcakes in rose pink frosting. The recipe for the cupcakes can be found here.
My feminine Christmas Outfit
To complete my overall look I wore this gorgeous bell sleeve sweater and pink tulle skirt from Chicwish. I paired this with a pretty pink Christmas hat and some sparkly rose gold stilettos from Shoedazzle. Not only are these shoes super cute, but they will look great with your new years eve outfit as well!
